After 20 years in the corporate world it was time for a change.  In the spring of 2012 Elizabeth followed her passion and began sharing her story publicly in hopes of helping others, especially teens.  Her story was not one of great tales but a story of sacrifice and unconditional love.  A story that began and was created from one decision.  Her story of becoming pregnant at 15 years old.  The strong desire to educate teens along with her personal experience catapulted Elizabeth into the public speaking arena.  Sharing her story publicly has enabled Elizabeth to successfully reach thousands of middle school and high school students.  Truly amazing watching the student’s reaction as the details of her story are told.  Knowing she reached one student with her story.   Every day trying to reach one more.

As Elizabeth continued presenting at the middle school and high school levels she noticed how many students admitted not talking to their parents about sex, pregnancy and STI’s.  The “talk” was labeled as uncomfortable and awkward for both parents and teens.   Kitchen Conversations:  The New Approach to Discussing Sex, Pregnancy and STI’s With Your Teens was created.  Elizabeth creatively writes and shares her real life stories and experiences to provide the stepping stones needed to embrace meaningful conversations between parents and teens.  The new approach will help both parents and teens engage in a series of conversations while creating ever lasting memories in the kitchen.
